Have you ever considered thrifted fabric in your sewing?
Above is my video with some thoughts on how I go about finding and repurposing quality, gently used fabrics in my quilting.
What have I thrifted for lately?
Fabrics to coordinate with a jelly roll.
I’m using a Kaffe x Morris design roll
for a scrappy TripAround the World quilt, and I want to pull in a few more fabrics to add interest. Here’s my Amazon Affiliate link to a Kaffe x Morris fat quarter bundle https://amzn.to/3V1oMSw
I’m planning a vase of flowers fabric collage, and I managed to put together this color palette at the last thrift store I visited.

The dotted cardigan is atypical quilt fabric, but it’s perfect for a wall hanging that will be free motion quilted. I’m thinking the dots will be the vase. I’ll fussy cut flowers out of the other items to appliqué on.
This ridiculous pineapple shirt fabric, just because it made me smile.

Do you think it counts as a low volume fabric?
Happy Quilting (and thrifting!)
