Hi Happy Quilty People! I’m Holly. Welcome!
I’m a West Texas girl who grew up sewing. I still sew on the machine my Mama taught me on.
A while back, a friend of mine told me she wanted to learn to learn to sew. My response was “Ooh! Pick me, because I can totally get you into so much trouble!”
As it turns out, I totally got myself into trouble because I did not foresee how much I would embrace sewing as my new hobby. I did not see this love of quilting coming, but I am having so much fun!
I quickly realized that I wanted more sewing community, so Happy Quilty People was born as a way to create connections between sewists.

Child. I quilt, longarm quilt for the public, machine embroidery, and just about any crafty thing. About 12 years ago I fully embraced it and jumped in.
